Our outcome for this project is to learn more about the different methods and ways to stain cells in order for scientists to be able to study the cells in an easier way. There are many different ways to study the cells by using 3 we methods we learned like histochemical staining, immunohistochemical staining and also fluorescence staining. Each of these methods have a different effects like the difference between the histochemical staining and the fluorescence staining, where the histochemical staining stains both the nucleus and the cytoplasm, the fluorescence staining stains only the nucleus. The project also requires us to work with two different microscopes, the light microscope and the fluorescence microscope, where the light microscope would be use to observe cells that have been histochemical staining or immunohistochemical staining, and the fluorescence microscope would be used to observe the cells that have went through the fluorescence staining, thus this allows us to have interaction with many different types of microscopes and thus would allow us to learn more about them.
